Williams signs with Vikings

The Bengals lost Madieu Williams to the Minnesota Vikings after the safety came to terms with a six-year, $33 million deal. The deal includes $13 million in guarantees and $17 million through the first three seasons. It also appears that Smith will likely sign with the San Francisco 49ers, though he still has a visit with Minnesota in store. Unless something unexpected happens, Smith will be a former Bengal.

There's been little on the Landon Johnson front but all indications are that he'll be elsewhere. If it's not for the judgment that he won't fit in a 3-4, then it's about the gap between sides with different opinions on Johnson's value.
