Tecmo Bowl Futures - Chargers Vs. Bengals

You can go anywhere on the web and find what the experts think the outcome of any game will be. I have my own expert. She was born in 1991 and has had my heart ever since. Her name, Tecmo Super Bowl.

It is time to switch the bit in the game from regular season to playoffs. The Bengals host the Chargers in the wild card round. While it may be cold and rainy in Cincinnati, in the Tecmo world it is always sunny and 75. Let's see how this game shakes out.

The Chargers start with the ball and the Bengals defense is on fire. Early sacks from Carlos Dunlap and Tecmo legend James Harrison forces the Chargers to punt the ball away.

The Bengals open up the 2nd quarter and are forced to punt the ball back to the Chargers.

Rivers finds Malcom Floyd for a huge gain but then Ryan Mathews fumbles the ball and the Bengals recover.

A long pass to A.J. Green opens the door for a Jermaine Gresham touchdown.

At the half the Bengals lead 7 - 0.

Andy Dalton struggles to get into a rhythm and the Bengals are forced to punt the ball back to the Chargers.

Pinned back deep, Rey Maualuga gets to Philip Rivers for the safety!

However, on the next possession, the Bengals fumble the ball away.

In the next few plays, the Chargers are burdened with two terrible injuries.
