Three Bengals named to the Pro-Bowl.

I've posted before that I think the Pro-Bowl is nothing more than a resume building block. The game itself is boring and pointless -- is there really a reason to kick a PAT? It's no one's fault; it's just a matter of circumstance. Players don't want to get hurt and most players want to go home and rest.

This season, the Bengals will send three to the Pro-Bowl: Chad Johnson (starter), Carson Palmer (backup) and Willie Anderson (starter).

Anderson and Johnson are starters and Palmer is a backup. Fullback Jeremi Johnson is a first alternate, running back Rudi Johnson and left guard Eric Steinbach are second alternates, and wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh is a third alternate.
