Carson Palmer updates media, Henry pleads guilty

Wednesday afternoon, Carson Palmer held a press conference regarding his rehab -- you know professional sports has changed when you hold a press conference in the middle of the off-season regarding an injury.  Anyway, Palmer told us his recovery is on schedule but cautioned he's not 100% sure if he'll be ready by training camp.

"Everything is going as scheduled and planned," he said. "I'm just starting to get to the point where I can push weight around."

Palmer said he still expects to be the team's starting quarterback on opening day but can't predict the future.

"I don't have a crystal ball," he said. "But, no question, that's what I'm expecting. I still expect to play Game 1 in the preseason."

Also, it was noted from an area sports talk host Palmer walked into the room without crutches or any noticeable limps.

Update on Chris Henry:

On Wednesday, Henry pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and was ordered to pay a $250 fine.

Notice that he admits it's time to grow up? Road to contrition, admission to fault is. (cheap Yoda reference)

Earlier this month, Henry saw two of his three felony gun charges dropped in Florida. I'm unsure if that case has a court date yet; may have just missed that.  If any one knows, let me know.
