Bengals still looking at backup QB via process of elimination

Since the start of free agency, the Bengals brass has put an emphasis on finding a backup quarterback willing to take that role but good enough to start if Palmer's recovery takes longer than expected.

At one point there were 32 available quarterbacks that were either free agents or released from their respective teams.  Since then, Drew Brees, Brian Griese, Josh McCown, Aaron Brooks, Gus Frerotte, Jon Kitna, Jeff Garcia, Todd Collins, Sage Rosenfels, and Craig Nall have signed with new teams.  Chris Weinke, Charlie Batch, Tim Hasselbeck, and Damon Huard have resigned with the same team.

Tommy Maddox, Jay Fiedler, Tim Rattay, Anthony Wright, have been thrown around as possible candidates still available, but nothing substantive at this point.  I would like to open up the idea to anyone reading that Jeff Blake is still available.
