Former Bengals tight-end dies at 49 years old.

Dan Ross, former Bengals tight end died Tuesday night. Ross played eight seasons; six with the Bengals. In Super Bowl XVI, with the Bengals down 20 at half-time, Ross nearly single-handedly, brought the Bengals back with two fourth quarter touchdowns. For the game, the Northeastern record holder caught 11 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns.

Ross' best season came in '81 with 71 receptions for 910 yards.
