The media is getting more aggressive questioning Marvin Lewis who seems to be picking up players with questionable character issues and troubled pasts. While I think it's not Lewis' fault, it's the players that commit the crimes, there's no doubt Lewis is a great contributor to the community.
In less than three years in Cincinnati, the Marvin Lewis Golf Classic has raised $450,000 for the Marvin Lewis Community Fund, a nonprofit organization that seeks to empower, educate and inspire people in the region.
Personally, I feel that Marvin Lewis, not only tries to build a great football program, but -- and to a fault maybe -- wants to help some of these kids become men. The problem is when Lewis gives these kids a chance, they turn on him and make a fool of him.
