DUVols brought up an interesting question. With all this hoop-la between Green and Geathers and the great shutdown-Larry-Johnson defense and Chris Henry's optimistic verdict and T.J. Houshmandzadeh's heel something flew under the radar; where the hell is Frostee Rucker. He wasn't listed on any injury report last week. Then on Sunday, he was inactive. Then he pops up on the injury report.
It's in the shoulder I hear. It's strange because there's been limited explanation to it. That shouldn't surprise us though; it's been the least in-demand topic this week.
In the meantime, I came across this: In 2005, Rucker "underwent right shoulder arthroscopic surgery in March, missing spring drills." Admittedly, I'm not sure if this shoulder is the same that's keeping him out. If that's true, and he's dealing with a nagging injury, I can't imagine he'll accumulate too many snaps.
So... where's Frostee Rucker? OK, it's possible that I too could have been victim of the information overload this week. Maybe I missed a sentence in an article dominated by Henry's community service or Geathers/Green conversation. So if I missed something, let me know.
FLASHBACK: Rucker suffered a toe injury against Washington.
