Thurman not welcome to Bengals facilities

The story of Odell Thurman is a sad one. He will be, at least currently, the poster boy of breaking his own opportunity to having a very successful and comfortable life. But he failed to do the simple things to avoid his current deal. He still lacks personal responsibility and that, to me, seems like what hurt him. He failed to show up for a required drug test -- suspended four games. He was arrested for a DUI, and now he's out for the season and will not get paid for 2006.

Marvin even said of Thurman, "We've told him he's not to be around here."

Wow. Talk about ticked off.

I think T.J. put in proper perspective.

"What?s adversity?? receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh said. "What?s happened? There?s nothing going on right now that?s adversity. We?re winning."

However, Carson Palmer said:

"Coach Lewis is fed up with harping on Odell about doing the right thing at the right time and not being at the wrong place at the wrong time," said quarterback Carson Palmer. "At some point, I think Marvin's done with it. I saw him clear out his locker. I think everybody saw that and realized at some point you're not going to get a second chance, a third chance, a fourth chance."
