February 12: Waiver system begins for 2007.
February 21-27: NFL Combine Timing and Testing Sessions in Indy.
February 22: Deadline to transition Franchise/Transition players.
March 1: Deadline for clubs to exercise 2007 options on players with option clauses in their 2006 contracts.
March 2: Free agency period begins. Trading period begins.
March 19: Clubs may begin voluntary off-season workout programs.
April 20: Submission deadline for restricted free agents to sign their offer sheets.
April 27: Deadline for old clubs to match offer sheets submitted to restricted free agents.
April 28-29: NFL Draft
June 1: Deadline for old club to send tender or extend qualifying offer to restricted free agents to retain rights.
June 15: Deadline for restricted free agents to accept Qualifying offer.
July 14: Deadline for club designating a franchise player to sign to multi-year contract or extension. After this date, club is only allowed to sign franchise player to one-year contract and no extension is allowed until after the club's regular season game.
Mid-July: Training camp begins.
