Browns go after Zampese... Bengals say hell no.

The Cleveland Browns tried to go after Bengals quarterback coach, Ken Zampese. The front office, after granting the Panthers permission to interview Zampese, said "no way" to the Browns.

"They don't want to let a coach still under contract go to a division team," the source said. "It would be like giving the Browns the Bengals' playbook."

So the Browns continue towards mediocrity -- replacing the Bengals as the worst team in the division. Since 2003, the Browns are 19-45 -- a .297 winning percentage. Ironically, during the Bengals' Age of Helplessism, the Bengals had a .286 winning clip.

So meet your new Bungals. The Cleveland Browns.
