Well, Hue Jackson reportedly is Atlanta's new offensive coordinator for old coaching-mate Bobby Petrino.
Jackson became the Bengals wide receivers coach in 2004. Since 2004, Chad Johnson has led the AFC in receiving yards every season and the NFL's yardage leader in 2006. But I think you should look at T.J. Houshmandzadeh's success. From 2001 through two games in 2003, Houshmandzadeh was relatively a return man at best -- a Tab Perry if you will. Since 2004, he's become arguably the team's best possession receiver. Check out his numbers since 2004:
SEASON | REC | YARDS | TDs |
2004 | 73 | 978 | 4 |
2005 | 78 | 956 | 7 |
2006 | 90 | 1,081 | 9 |
