Updating the Projected Tight End Roster

Now that Ronnie Ghent was waived, I wanted to update the projected Tight End roster.

Reggie Kelly will start. There was never a shred of doubt about that. Daniel Coats' size projects him as the immediate backup for Kelly. The question though is how much would Coats contribute on special teams. With Tony Stewart as the second of a two-tight end roster, the Bengals used him to play special teams. If the same is projected this season, then the player that can influx quality special teams and block amongst the offensive linemen, would be the obvious choice.

  1. Reggie Kelly
  2. Daniel Coats *
  3. Tim Day
  4. Sean Mulcahy (NFLe)
  5. Bobby Blizzard
