Cincy Jungle predicts the future. |
You know what they say. It's never too early for a mock draft. Even though there's 51 weeks to go, there's 2010 mock drafts popping up. Yes, 2010. College players that have one year to play in which significant injuries could completely devastate an entire mocks, there's still 2010 mock drafts.
Fox Sports' Peter Schrager is one of those.
So, for the ninth pick in the 2010 NFL Draft (I guess we score more than four wins), the Cincinnati Bengals select Ndamukong Suh, defensive tackle from Nebraska. This makes since. After all, how many uncommon names are on roster, why not chart the trends to include another? Sam Bradford is the first quarterback to go, and the three top quarterback prospects (Bradford, Tim Tebow and Colt McCoy) are gone within the top-five.
If we were to put on our thinking caps, which is a large Emmett "Doc" Brown contraption, of the positions that we could possible draft, it could be linebacker or running back. We're two thirds of the way of having a complete revamp set of linebackers for several seasons. However, we're still unsure about running back because 2010 will be a contract year for Cedric Benson.
I know it's ridiculous to even point out a 2010 mock draft -- even more ridiculous to actually come up with one. But you know, Cincy Jungle is just that awesome.
