Out for the Season: Pat Sims breaks forearm

The Cincinnati Bengals have had their issues with defensive tackles this year. Tank Johnson and Domata Peko have missed time. They've brought in guys like Shaun Smith and Orien Harris to fill in a role -- meaning they're bodies so key players can rest.

While I believe Tank is performing at his peak while with Cincinnati, the loss of Peko has hurt. In three of the past four games, the Bengals rush defense has allowed 100 yards or more, including 257 yards rushing to the New York Jets in the season finale.

And in that season finale game, Bengals defensive tackle Pat Sims broke his forearm, knocking him out of the game and the remainder of the season.

Thankfully, Peko is expected to return to the starting lineup in time for the playoffs.
