After a heartbreaking loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam "don't call me Pacman" Jones was reportedly detained in handcuffs after an incident near Great American Ball Park where he "drove a silver Jaguar onto the sidewalk near the Reds’ ball park."
Cincy Jungle's own Josh Kirkendall was in the area but didn't see the incident or my cell phone picture-taker would have been in over time during my Great American Ball Park commute to watch the Reds heartbreaking loss to the Philadelphia Phillies.
Jones was quickly released and not charged with a crime after a "witness said Jones swerved to avoid the car in front of his and jumped the curb onto the sidewalk."
Whether or not Jones should "make a stink" about the arrest, embarrassed while being handcuffed with pictures of his arrest making the rounds on the internet. Personally, sometimes it's just best to move on and let it go, rather than going all Matthias Askew on the city. But hey, that's just me.
