Tuesday's announcement that Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall had signed his one-year tender as a restricted free agent, entertained the notion that it was the first step to get the receiver traded. The same thing happened with Seahawks guard Rob Sims, who was later traded to the Detroit Lions. On Wednesday morning, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Broncos finally traded Marshall to the Miami Dolphins for a second-round pick this year, and perhaps a second-round pick next year. The question is how will this affect the Cincinnati Bengals.
You can assume now that the Broncos will be looking for a wide receiver early in the draft. The most notable receiver is Oklahoma State's Dez Bryant. Will the Broncos draft him? Reportedly they're interested and, along with the San Francisco 49ers, are scheduled to meet with the receiver.
We've said it time and time again; we have absolutely no idea how this year's NFL Draft will pan out for the Cincinnati Bengals. And it's kind of exciting, don't you think?
