Bengals Banter: When Corey Dillon Is In the News, It Can't Be Good

Here's a few things to take note of. The Bengals reportedly still want to sign Reggie Kelly to a one-year deal if the money is right. With a team that's sporting the best tight end in this year's NFL draft, you have to think that door is slowly closing on Kelly, who might be best served to take what he can get.

Bengals will kick off Organized Team Activities (OTAs) on May 11.

If the Bengals elect to sign any of their tryout players they had on hand this weekend, it seems likely that'll happen this week.

+ Undrafted long-snapper Mike Windt reportedly had offers from several teams, but choose the Bengals because of punter Kevin Huber.

"He not only knows punting very well, he knows long-snapping," Windt said. "He knows me very well, and he knows my tendencies. He can help me fix them pretty fast."

+ Former Bengals running back Corey Dillon was arrested for allegedly assaulting his estranged wife Saturday night.

+ Former Bengals offensive lineman Stacy Andrews already took a pay cut and he's now moving back to right guard to replace his recently departed brother. As of this posting, Shawn is still unsigned.
