During the Bengals playoff loss to the New York Jets, Rashad Jeanty suffered a fractured fibula when Bernard Scott returned the opening kickoff 56 yards. He later claimed in March, while sporting a walking boot, that he wouldn't need surgery on Sirius NFL Radio, but should be ready for minicamps. This came a few weeks before Rashad Jeanty signed his one-year tender at $1.176 million.
Unfortunately, Jeanty still isn't ready. According to Joe Reedy, the linebacker will be placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
All things considered, the Bengals are shockingly healthy this year. When a team like the Baltimore Ravens, many of whom are projecting as the division champions, if not contenders for the Super Bowl, places several players on PUP, the Bengals, so far, have one.
