Bills Return An Interception For Touchdown, Take A 10-3 Lead

Penalties crushed the Buffalo Bills possession that began with 5:39 left in the second quarter. An offensive holding on punt return pushed the Bills possession from the 22-yard line, ten yards back to the 12. A screen pass in which Rey Maualuga made a nice from behind tackle was negated after a pass interference against wide receiver David Nelson. Fitzpatrick and the Bills offense were unable to recover after an incomplete to Donald Jones, a four-yard run by Fred Jackson and a five-yard scramble, seven yards short of the first down.

Starting at the Bengals 41-yard line, Andy Dalton is forced to roll out right and shot puts the football out of bounds before he's knocked out for a loss. On second down, from shotgun, Dalton tries to hit Andre Caldwell who bobbled the football all the way to the ground. However since the football was knocking around Caldwell's legs and not touching the ground, defensive back Bryan Scott clutched the football and returned it for a touchdown. That's a pick-six. And that's a Bills touchdown, leading 10-3.
