Bengals linebacker Thomas Howard returned to practice during individual (position-related) activities on Thursday offering a simmer of hope that the team's most productive linebacker in 2011 could play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
It's been a rough one for linebackers this year. Along with Howard and Rey Maualuga walking around in a protective boot with a sprained ankle, Keith Rivers has been out all season with a wrist injury, Dontay Moch broke a bone in his foot during the preseason and Roddrick Muckelroy ruptured an Achilles tendon early during training camp; Muckelroy is the only linebacker out for the season at this point.
