The Cincinnati Bengals head into Week 8 of the 2011 season still relatively healthy but they will miss a few players, including two that have had quite a big impact on the team through the first six games of the season.
Both tight end Jermaine Gresham and Rey Maualuga will miss the Bengals' Week 8 game against the Seahawks this afternoon. Joining them on the sidelines will be cornberback Morgan Trent, safety Robert Sands, linebacker Dontay Moch, guard Clint Boling and wide receiver Ryan Whalen. Gresham is missing today because he injured his hamstring during practice on Friday.
Dan Skuta will likely start at middle linebacker in Maualuga's place and Donald Lee is expected to start at tight end in Gresham's place.
For the Seahawks, quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, who missed the last game due to injury, is back in the starting lineup along with running back Marshawn Lynch. Seattle will be without quarterback Josh Portis, wide receiver Mike Williams, safety Jeron Johnson, cornerback Kennard Cox, cornerback Ron Parker, offensive tackle Jarriel King and defensive tackle Al Woods.
