Bengals Take A 23-20 Lead After Bernard Scott Touchdown Run

After the Jacksonville Jaguars go three-and-out from inside their own 10-yard line, Jaguars punter Matt Turk punts the football 22 yards that was knocked out of bounds at their own 28-yard line; compounded by a five-yard player out of bounds flag. Cedric Benson gets the call on consecutive downs, picking up four yards and setting up a third-and-six at Jacksonville's 19-yard line with 4:02 left in the game.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton goes under center, fakes to Benson and scrambles right under pressure and over throws A.J. Green in the end zone. Cincinnati decides to go for it for the second time in the game. The first they converted, eventually leading to points. This time Andy Dalton takes the shotgun snap, and throws for Jermaine Gresham, who climbed the ladder for a nine-yard gain and the first down.

Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Cedric Benson's limited gain puts the clock under three minutes. Second and goal from the 10-yard line, Dalton takes the shotgun snap and hits Andre Caldwell on an in-route for an eight-yard gain setting up a third-and-goal from the Jaguars' two-yard line.

After the two minute warning, Andy Dalton takes the shotgun snap with Bernard Scott and Brian Leonard flanking the quarterback. Dalton takes the shotgun snap and... hands off to Scott who scampers into the end zone for a touchdown, giving the Bengals a 23-20 lead with 1:56 remaining in the game.
