Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton had a decent November. Even though as the starting quarterback the Bengals went 2-2, with losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens, Dalton posted a quarterback rating of 80.5 with seven touchdowns and five interceptions. Dalton was nominated for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month of November -- an award he had already won in October with the Bengals going 4-0 with him as the starting quarterback. A.J. Green was also considered with 11 receptions for 229 yards receiving and a touchdown despite missing a game (Baltimore) and three quarters from another (Pittsburgh).
Of course none of it truly mattered after the month DeMarco Murray had with the Dallas Cowboys, rushing for 434 yards and a touchdown while the Cowboys went 4-0 in November and earning the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Month award. Linebacker Von Miller posted 4.5 quarterback sacks and was awarded the defensive player of the month.
