The Bengals are actually healthier now than they were through the toughest stretch of their schedule, which is a good thing. They need to win out to be able to go to the playoffs, which means beating the Arizona Cardinals this Saturday and beating the Baltimore Ravens next Sunday.
One name that popped up on Wednesday's injury report that was worrisome, though, was Andrew Whitworth. Whitworth is the Bengals starting left tackle and the team's best offensive lineman. He may not be worthy of a pro bowl spot in 2011 but that doesn't change the fact that he's done a good job at protecting Andy Dalton's blind side this season.
Whitworth returned to practice on Thursday, though he was limited. Since the Bengals play on Saturday, Thursday's practice is likely the last practice of the week and if Whitworth practiced, he'll likely be probably for the Bengals' Week 16 game.
Andre Caldwell did not return to practice Thursday and both Rey Maualuga and Nate Clements sat out of practice as well (they both practiced Wednesday) for non-injury related reasons.
Stay tuned tonight for both the Bengals' and Cardinals' full practice reports.
