As expected, Remember The Titans took down Little Giants in a blowout. So far, every higher seed has defeated the lower seed that they've faced. Will that change tonight? We'll see.
It's time to move on to the next two movies in our tournament: No. 4 Rudy VS No. 21 Semi-Tough
First, a little about our match up:
Rudy is the true story of Rudy Ruettiger, a small football player with the heart of a lion. Everybody has always told him he was too small to play division 1 football but that doesn't stop him for working harder than anybody else to prove everybody wrong by playing for his favorite school, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. At the end of the season, the rest of the players rally around Rudy and convince the coach to let him play. In the final play of the last game of the season, Rudy finds himself on the field for the first time. He makes a great play and gets carried off the field.
If you didn't cry, you're not human.
You're 5 foot nothin', 100 and nothin', and you have barely a speck of athletic ability. And you hung in there with the best college football players in the land for 2 years. And you're gonna walk outta here with a degree from the University of Notre Dame. In this life, you don't have to prove nothin' to nobody but yourself. And after what you've gone through, if you haven't done that by now, it ain't gonna never happen. Now go on back.
Semi-Tough is a football comedy about two professional football players who are friends and dating the same girl who happens to be the owner's daughter. HA!
[of a football player in a tuxedo] Now who says that clothes don't make the man? That's a well-dressed phone booth!
Will the heavyweight Rudy take down the underdog Semi-Tough as expected or will there finally be an upset?
