Bengals Defensive End Carlos Dunlap Signs Agent Drew Rosenhaus

After the Florida Gators season ended after the 2009 campaign, defensive end Carlos Dunlap was preparing for a life in the NFL. But before the workouts, combines, pro days began before the NFL Draft, a prospect has to sign a sports agent. Last year Dunlap signed Todd France from France All-Pro Athlete Management. Dunlap finished the season with six straight games recording at least a partial sack.

Dunlap has decided to change agents. According to Adam Schefter, the Bengals defensive end signed mega-agent Drew Rosenhaus, who is also known as "The Shark." Rosenhaus is also the client for Chad Ochocinco, Evan Mathis and Terrell Owens.

Dunlap was drafted by the Bengals in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. After a slow start, inactive in four of the team's first five games, Dunlap would go on to set a franchise record 9.5 quarterback sacks for a rookie. The Bengals defensive pass rush noticeably improved when Dunlap's playing time increased. Through the first eight games in the 2010 season, the Bengals recorded only seven quarterback sacks. In the final eight games of the season, the Bengals posted 20 quarterback sacks.
