2011 Cincy Jungle Mock Draft: You Know You Want In On This

The Super Bowl is over but that doesn't mean that there isn't any more football to discuss. Now that the 2011 NFL Draft order is determined, it's time to get the ball rolling on Cincy Jungle's second annual mock draft. Last year, Cincy Jungle writers and faithful readers alike went through the entire first round of the NFL draft and predicted, with some accuracy (who thought that Tim Tebow would be drafted in the first round? Mr. NC-17 did. Friar Bob picked Dez Bryant for the Cowboys and Ryan Matthews for the Chargers), which players would be picked by which teams.

It's time to start organizing this year's mock draft. If you'd like to help us out (and you know you do) here's what you need to know:

  • We're expanding this year's mock draft from the first round to the first three rounds.
  • Which team you will be drafting for will completely depend on you. We will assign teams on a first-come first-serve basis. However, we would like to encourage you to request a team that you have some level of expertise on.
  • The first picks of the 2011 Cincy Jungle mock draft will go up on March 7.
  • We would like you to not only make the choice of which player your team is drafting, but why your team is drafting that certain player with a few paragraphs.
  • Your posts should include a little team history along with your pick.
  • Your posts should be emailed to Cincy Jungle at least two days before it is scheduled to be posted.

So, if you're desperate to let everybody that frequents Cincy Jungle know that you think the Bengals are going to draft Cam Newton with their first-round pick, this is your chance to have your voice heard.

Email us at cincyjungle@gmail.com (with the subject "2011 CJ Mock Draft") with your name (both real and the name you use on the site) and which team you'd like to draft for and why you feel that you should be the one to pick for that team. We'll get back to  you as soon as possible to let you know if you got your team or if somebody beat you to it -- if that happens, we'll do what we can to get you another team, if you want.

Thanks for making Cincy Jungle so great and we're looking forward to seeing your thoughts on the draft.

Check the comments on this post to see which teams are spoken for and which teams aren't.
