Carlos Dunlap Is The Bengals Representative For The Madden '12 Cover Vote

New, comments

As pointed out by Avenger SevN, Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap has a chance to be on the cover of Madden NFL 12 through a fan vote on ESPN.com. Using an NCAA style brackets in the vote, a player from each NFL team will face another player from a division foe in the first round. The player with the most votes at the end will be on the cover of Madden NFL 12, announced on ESPN's SportsNation in late April.

Dunlap, the Bengals representative, will take on Pittsburgh's Hines Ward in the first round in a vote that will end on Sunday. Running backs Ray Rice and Patrick Hillis square off as the other AFC North matchup.

We say vote for Dunlap. Why not? Unwrapping Madden 12, wouldn't it be nice to have a Bengals player on the cover? Unless you totally believe in the Madden Curse.

In other unrelated news, Keith Rivers is developing a bot that will continuously vote Hines Ward to win, putting him on the cover of Madden NFL 12. While rubbing his chin after completing his dastardly plan is set into motion, Rivers is quoted as saying, "Win-neeer!"
