With the thirty-seventh pick in the 2011 Cincy Jungle Mock Draft, the Cleveland Browns select...

While the Bengals spent the ‘90s in the basement of the AFC North, it was the Browns who seemed to spend the majority of the 2000's (so far) in the cellar. However, along came Mike Holmgren (and away went Carson Palmer's knee and then elbow and then our collective sanity) and players like Peyton Hillis, Josh Cribbs and Colt McCoy, all who have given Clevelanders something to cheer about. Unfortunately for Bengals fans, that meant a trip back down to the AFC North basement, and if they're not careful, that's where they'll stay.

Torrey Smith, WR, Maryland

Now that the Browns have a running back that can't be stopped and a quarterback that can make some throws, they need a receiver that can actually call himself the No. 1 receiver. Last year, Brian Robiskie stepped up a little, especially at the end of the season and Mohammad Massaquoi did the same, however, neither of these receivers is a legitimate No. 1 receiver. If A.J. Green would have been available in the first round, the Browns maybe would have snatched him up but now that he's gone, and so has Julio Jones, the Browns best pick is the No. 3 ranked receiver, Torrey Smith.

Smith, standing at 6-1 and weighing 205 lbs. is definitely the big play threat that the Browns need in their receiving corps. His big play threat will draw in some extra attention from the talented secondaries that the Browns play, especially in the AFC North, allowing their other receivers some breathing room. An actual No. 1 receiver will not only open up the middle of the field for the No. 2 receiver, slot receiver and tight end, but it will likely help the run game a little as well, because the secondary won't be able to cheat up to stop the run anymore.

In the end, the Browns are in desperate need of a top-tier receiver and Torrey Smith is that guy. He's big, he's fast, he's got great hands and he's probably only scratched the surface of his talent and potential. With a little development, the Browns could find a No. 1 receiver for years to come.
