For the first time in a few years, it's hard to predict what the Bengals will do in the first round of the NFL draft. Is it going to be a wide receiver like A.J. Green or Julio Jones? Or could it be either one of the two first-round quarterbacks, Cam Newton or Blaine Gabbert? It wouldn't be a defensive player like Patrick Peterson or Marcell Dareus, would it? Hell, maybe the Bengals will trade down... who know? Basically what I'm saying is that I can't say, with any degree of accuracy, what the Bengals are going to do when the go on the clock to make a selection with the No. 4 overall pick.
We've been tossing the idea around for a while of hosting a draft day party at a local establishment that serves age appropriate beverages to watch the first round. It would be nice to be among Bengals fans when Roger Goodell announces who will be selected by our favorite team with the fourth overall pick... that is if they select anybody at all.
So, if you would be interested in gathering as Bengals fans and members of Cincy Jungle to watch the first round of the draft at one of the local watering holes, let us know so we can get something planned. It should be a good time.
