The Cincinnati Bengals are a busy team this weekend. Georgia's A.J. Green will arrive at Paul Brown Stadium this afternoon for a press conference and to sign autographs at the Bengals Pro Shop at 2:15 PM. Soon after the Bengals will be back in the war room, preparing for the second and third rounds of the NFL Draft starting at 6:00 PM. Jay Gruden reportedly is hoping that Andy Dalton falls to them with the third pick in the second round, which isn't hard to imagine. For a good portion of the draft, we had expected the Bengals to move up in the draft to grab Dalton after four quarterbacks were drafted through the first 12 picks.
Additional to the NFL Draft, players are now allowed to enter Paul Brown Stadium after the NFL released a memo on the rules of post-injunction operations. Some of those rules include players using club facilities for examinations, rehabilitation and treatment. Players can receive playbooks and game film and coaches can meet with them to discuss those items. Quan Cosby also tweets that there's some form of an OTA kicking off on Monday.
The Bengals have seven more draft picks through Saturday to make. Positions of need includes quarterback, running back, offensive and defensive linemen, linebacker, cornerback and safety. And we'll be here for all of it.
