Davon House, CB, New Mexico State
The Eagles have two major areas that needed addressed in this draft, OL and CB. Got the OL in the first so we get the CB in the second. House has good size, speed and ball skills. He will add immediate help to a secondary that gave up 31 TD passes last season. They gave up three TD passes to Rodgers and the Packers in the playoffs (loss).
House was expected to have one of the fastest times at the combine but ran a 4.44. His pro day was different were he ran 4.35. At 6-1 and 200 lbs he has the size to go against the bigger WR. With over 200 career tackles, House is not afraid to come up and support the run. House was a four year starter at New Mexico state and a 2-time all WAC selection.
