NFL Draft 2011: Pete Prisco Hands The Bengals His Grade

Mel Kiper Jr. really liked the Bengals draft. Todd McShay appeared to like it, but we're unsure if there's a clinical term for second round amnesia. Fox Sports' Adam Caplan handed out "Bs" like Tiger Woods... nevermind. Much like Caplan, CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco handed out 18 "Bs" and only three "As". The Bengals? A solid B:

Best pick: I like the pick of Andy Dalton in the second round. It gives them nice insurance if Carson Palmer actually retires.

Questionable move: Third-round pick Dontay Moch has a lot of athletic ability, but he is raw. Can he turn that into success on the next level?

Third-day gem: Fifth-round safety Robert Sands is an athletic player who has to improve his cover skills. He will be a special-teams player early.

Analysis: They needed to protect themselves if they don't have Palmer and they did. I also like the pick of A.J. Green at No. 4 in the first round since Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens will be gone.

This is the second analysis that questioned the Dontay Mock pick, with Prisco calling him raw and Todd McShay saying that the "second round pick" isn't suited for a 4-3 defense.
