Most of the veteran Bengals players were able to receive their playbooks during the temporary lift of the league's lockout early during the NFL Draft, according to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer. We know that wide receiver A.J. Green also received one. This is important to note because the Bengals are implementing an entirely new offense with recently hired offensive coordinator Jay Gruden.

Also according to Reedy, Bengals rookie offensive guard Clint Boling will participate with the offensive line workout that Andrew Whitworth is hosting next week. Before working out, Whitworth is hosting a golf tournament with around 20 players, including Boling and rookie quarterback Andy Dalton, who will meet his teammates for the first time.

Said Whitworth of Dalton: “I was excited for him to be willing to come down and sit down and meet a lot of his teammates. I like his attitude. The guy definitely is a winner and is coming from a winning atmosphere.”
