New Bengals Players Andy Dalton and A.J. Green at the NFLPA Rookie Premier

I mentioned last week that new Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton and wide receiver A.J. Green were invited to participate in the NFLPA's annual Rookie Premier that took place in Las Angeles on Friday and Saturday. Sometime between their their meet and greet, their flag football game and their walk down the red carpet, they took some time to speak to NFL Network's Lindsay Soto.

Here's what they had to say.

Andy Dalton on A.J. Green:

"You know we first kind of met each other at the combine for a little bit, not knowing we were going to be teammates. But, you know, it's been fun to get out here and hang out around each other, knowing we're going to be on the same team."

Dalton on Carson Palmer:

"I haven't gotten a chance to talk to him. I've just heard what a lot of people have been saying in the media, so I've just been preparing myself to be the starter, and that's what I'm going to do regardless of what happens."

Green on if he's had the chance to be thrown to by Dalton:

"Not yet, but I've seen his film. He's a winner, trust me, so I'll be happy for that..... Like I said, he's a winner. He's like a Tebow but accurate. He's just a winner, so it'll be good."

Dalton on being Tebow-esque:

"Well, I try to be that way. But now all I have to do is throw it up to A.J. and he'll go get it. He doesn't have to use two hands, he can use one hand and still bring stuff down."

Green on if he's heard from Chad Ochocinco:

"No, I've talked to him a couple times on Twitter, but that's about it. But I hope he'll be there so I can learn from a vet that's been there that knows the ropes to show me the ropes."
