Andy Dalton selected #14. A.J. Green picked #18 and linebacker Dontay Moch choose #52. According to Geoff Hobson, the rest of the Bengals class picked their numbers. Georgia Guard Clint Boling, drafted in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft, selected #65. Otis Hudson, last year's fifth round draft pick turned project, had Boling's #60 that he wore in college.
Safety Robert Sands, the Bengals fifth round pick out of West Virgina, isn't allowed to wear the #2 he wore in college due to NFL rules, and selected #49 instead. Wide receiver Ryan Whalen, selected in the sixth round, added a second number eight to his Stanford #8, giving him #88 (or as Chad says, Ocho Ocho). Cornerback Korey Lindsey, the first of two seventh round draft picks, wore #21 in college. That number is currently worn by cornerback Brandon Ghee. So Lindsey selected #38. Finally, the Bengals second seventh round draft pick, running back Jay Finley, selected #33.
