Poll: Best Bengals Player To Wear No. 23 All-Time

Now that we have our first twenty numbers of the best Bengals players in the books, we can move on with numbers 21-30.

Bernard Jackson played for the Cincinnati Bengals for five seasons between 1972 and 1976 on defense and special teams. As a safety, Jackson posted nine interceptions, three forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries. As returner with the Bengals, Jackson averaged 23.9 yards per kickoff return on 96 attempts.

Corey Sawyer started 12 games with the Cincinnati Bengals from 1994 through 1998, posting 11 career interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Sawyer also returned 50 punts with Cincinnati, averaging 9.6 yards/return (third most in franchise history) with an 82-yard touchdown during his rookie season. Sawyer's 307 punt return yards in 1994 and 11.8 yards/return average both rank fourth in franchise history.

Other players to wear number 23 includes Al Coleman, Rodney Tate, Dennis Weathersby, Chris Perry (2005-08) and Jeremi Johnson (2009).
