Downtown Cincinnati's eastern border is a giant hill named Mount Adams, which holds some of the city's most expensive apartments, nicest houses and is topped with a street full of bars and restaurants. Recently, Bengals middle linebacker and unrestricted free agent Dhani Jones has opened up a cafe on Saint Gregory Street and named it the Bow Tie Cafe.
Jones' cafe's tagline is "Coffee. Conversation. Cocktails." and has a full menu, a daily happy hour, lunch specials and even hookahs and a variation of flavored tobaccos to smoke. Jones' Bow Tie Cafe even has live music on the weekends.
When asked about opening the cafe, Jones said that he felt it was important for people to have a meeting place where they can feel comfortable sharing themselves with others and making new friends. He said that while the cafe's tagline is Coffee. Conversation. Cocktails., the most important word is conversation.
Here's Jones explaining his reasoning for opening the Bow Tie Cafe and why he opened it in Cincinnati.
