A.J. Green Scores An 80 In Madden 12

Most of our readers tend to be regular contributors and supports of the Madden video game empire. And why not. With an exclusive license, EA promotes and develops the only NFL video game with actually named players. And in truth it's fun, if you can handle taking a loss on the chin every once in a while like a man. Which I clearly can't. But we're always interested in where the Bengals rate. After a 4-12 season, we're sure not well. And if Madden imitates life, then Carson Palmer won't be an option.

According to EA Sports, Bengals rookie wide receiver A.J. Green will have an overall rating of 80 for the newest release of Madden, which is only slightly less than cornerback Patrick Peterson, defensive lineman Marcell Dareus and cornerback Prince Amukamara.

Madden 12, with Browns running back Peyton Hillis on the cover (sorry Browns fans), is set to release on August 30, 2011. Some of the neat things on this version includes actually having a 75-player roster during preseason. You can trade future draft picks, rather than the draft picks for only the next draft. So when ALL of you trade Carson Palmer, you might be able to snag two firsts. One for this year and one for next. Custom playbooks. Over 100 enhancements in franchise mode. Between this and Modern Warfare 3, if the NFL decided to take the year off, I might not even notice.
