As Dave pointed out Tuesday night, Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole reported that the Cincinnati Bengals joined in the bidding for Oakland Raiders offensive lineman Robert Gallery. Made sense. Bengals need a left guard with Nate Livings being the expected starter. Additionally Bobbie Williams is entering the final year under contract, giving the Bengals a stable of Clint Boiling and Otis Hudson as future prospective guards.
While Gallery isn't the make or break player to dictate the future at the position, it would have been an upgrade.
However according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Seattle Seahawks have come to an agreement with Gallery on a three-year deal.
Seattle reached agreement with former Raiders guard Robert Gallery on a three-year deal. Gallery and Tom Cable reunited.
