UPDATE: According to a recent Joe Reedy tweet, A.J. Green's deal is four years worth $19.6 million with all of it being guaranteed.
I'm hearing that A.J. Green's contract is 4 years at $19.6 million. The $19.6M is guaranteed
Earlier Thursday morning the Cincinnati Bengals reportedly agreed to terms with their first round draft pick, Georgia wide receiver A.J. Green. Due to how quickly the signing was made, Green will be the first player drafted by the Bengals in the first round to report to training camp on time.
Now details of the contract are starting to emerge. According to Carlos Holmes of the Dayton Daily News, A.J. Green's contract is "believed to be a four-year deal and around the $20 million range", all of which is thought to be guaranteed. The numbers have yet to be confirmed or substantiated.
According to Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson, the Bengals also have fifth round draft pick Robert Sands and seventh round draft pick Korey Lindsey signed to rookie contracts. That leaves quarterback Andy Dalton (second round), linebacker Dontay Moch (third round), guard Clint Boling (fourth round), wide receiver Ryan Whalen (sixth round) and running back Jay Finley (seventh round) unsigned -- which we're sure will happen relatively fast.
