According to Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer, Trent failed his physical, most likely the result of a knee injury he suffered in practice on November 11 that put him on Injured Reserve four days later.
With Trent waived and Johnathan Joseph signing with the Houston Texans, that leaves Leon Hall, Brandon Ghee, Korey Lindsey, Jonathan Wade, Rico Murray and David Pender as your available cornerbacks. Adam Jones was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform List (he can come off of that at any time).
