According to Geoff Hobson (who writes according to his agent), the Cincinnati Bengals have signed Arizona Cardinals offensive guard Deuce Lutui. The deal, Hobson tweets, is a two-year deal.
Agent for Cardinals G Deuce Lutui says reached 2-year deal in principle with Bengals. 2nd-round pick out of USC. Big, physical AFC North guy
A second-round draft pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, Deuce Lutui, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing in at 340 pounds, started 63 of the team's 64 previous four games from 2007 through the 2010 season. Lutui, likely a good backup guard to Bobbie Williams (did you note the size I purposely referenced earlier), made most of his starts at right guard with the Cardinals.
According to Pro Football Focus, Lutui graded as the team's worst run blocker with a grade of -14.3 in 2010. Before your head drops onto the table, it actually gets better. In 2009 Lutui graded as the team's best run blocker with a score of 6.9 and his overall grade rated as the team's fourth-best offensive player.
