Jermaine Gresham to be a Game-Time Decision on Sunday

Cincinnati Bengals starting tight end Jermaine Gresham is likely to be one of Andy Dalton's best friends this season. When the defense sees a rookie quarterback in an obvious passing situation, and they start salivating at the thought of introducing him to the NFL with a vicious sack, Dalton will be looking to get rid of the ball quickly and Gresham should often be there as his safety net.

Dalton may have his safety net on Sunday when they face the Jets tough defense in New York, and he may not. According to Geoff Hobson, Gresham is a game-time decision.

Gresham sat out for a few practices this week for undisclosed reasons, though it's likely that he's just recovering from the normal bumps and bruises that occur during the preseason.

If Gresham does sit out, we'll get to take a good look at his backups, Chase Coffman and recently acquired free agent Bo Scaife, as well as Colin Cochart and John Nalbone.
