While we sift through last night's game (yes we're watching videos galore and putting together our video reviews), we've already pointed out one item of interest on Monday that will be worth monitoring. The NFL's Supplemental Draft and who selects high-profile quarterback Terrelle Pryor. Alright so we would have monitored the supplemental draft even without Pryor (that's how we roll). The interest for Bengals fans increases as some project the Cincinnati Bengals as being one of the team's interested in the former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback.
Peter King of Sports Illustrated guesses that the Cincinnati Bengals are the favorites to acquire him on Monday:
Teams wishing to acquire a player in a supplemental draft put in a blind bid to the league office today, and the team that bid the highest round for the player is awarded him. So if the Bengals bid a fourth-round pick for Pryor and the Raiders a fifth-, Cincinnati gets him. My favorite to pick the controversial Ohio State quarterback is Cincinnati.
King does project three players being drafted Monday afternoon, including Georgia running back Caleb King and Lindenwood defensive end Keenan Mace.
What would be nice, if the Bengals draft Pryor, is to find a position for former Bengals legend Ken Anderson to help mentor Pryor during his development into the NFL.
