The Cincinnati Bengals were one of five teams reportedly interested in the Ohio State University quarterback Terrelle Pryor, even checking out his workout last week. And when we mean quarterback, we mean that's the position he played in college; not some prophesy expectation where Pryor will play in the NFL.

Peter King even suggested that the Bengals will be the team drafting him during Monday's Supplemental Draft, using complete conjecture on what we believe is his completely love for the Bengals. And by love, we mean that with a slight chuckle.

However, it's all for naught.

The Oakland Raiders reportedly selected Terrelle Pryor in the third round, meaning that the Raiders will now lose their third round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft (they didn't have a fourth rounder to offer).

According to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, the Bengals didn't lose out on Pryor because they didn't even offer a bid.
