Cincinnati Bengals defensive end and the team's best pass rusher from 2010 will likely sit out for the team's third preseason game Thursday night against the Panthers. If Dunlap does not play, it will mean that he has missed all three of the Bengals' preseason games so far.

Dunlap has been held out of practice during the preseason because of a knee injury, however, there is no sense at how serious the injury is. It is not clear as to whether this injury could threaten Dunlap's play during the regular season or if he is being held out of the practice and preseason games as a precaution so he is fresh during the regular season.
Let's hope it's the latter.
