We're fairly certain that some of you won't care; for the rest of you, it's what you've been waiting for. The Madden 12 Ratings announcement. Largely thanks to the NFL lockout, rosters on teams haven't been updated to include free agency, which kicked off last week. For example, Johnathan Joseph (89) Chad Ochocinco (85), Antwan Odom (84) and Carson Palmer (83) are all on the roster. If you're anything like me, you're totally trading them for some sweet draft picks to imitate real life rebuilding the Bengals in your own image.
Leon Hall (90) scores the best overall grade on the team with Bobbie Williams surprisingly scoring an 89, second-highest. I told you the offensive guard is still really good. Of course now EA's vindication of my arguments still feel a little hollow. Though we're not sure if Andrew Whitworth (85) should score a lesser grade. Carlos Dunlap (85) ranks as the top defensive lineman and Keith Rivers (84) ranks as the best linebacker. Michael Johnson is defined as an outside linebacker, even though he's spent mostly his entire career on the defensive line.
Are the grades fair? Are you buying Madden 12 this year?
