The Cincinnati Bengals returned to the field on a cool Monday morning following a four-day weekend during the team's Bye Week. Brian Leonard, who sat against the Pittsburgh Steelers after sustaining a rib injury during a special teams play against the Cleveland Browns, made his return during Cincinnati's 90-minute morning workout.
Leonard intends to be full-go when the team starts practicing for a Denver Broncos team that beat New Orleans 34-14 on Sunday. Cincinnati went in against the Steelers with only two healthy running backs and Chris Pressley, who was designed as the team's third back if needed.
It's a bit murkier for Wide receiver Marvin Jones and starting (for now) center Jeff Faine, both of whom sat during Monday's workout.
